Bill Swindell's '28 Ford Sedan

Bill's sedan's previous color was a deep red and the owner wanted a new color to make his hot rod stand out more. We went to town removing various small dents and stress marks in his steel body sedan and then re-sprayed the car in Dupont's Brite Hue Metallic Orange.

Additional work included custom fabricating and relocating the fuel fill system from the side running boards to the rear body panel. Plus we also made a custom license plate insert that was molded into the rear of the car.

To complete the body and paint we repainted the underside of the car in satin black. In regards to the mechanical work we added some inner dash turn signals along with installing Willwood front and rear brakes for better stopping power. Mr. Swindell's car took first place in its class at the Detroit Autorama in 2006.
